I’m a chronic overthinker.
Thinking can keep me distracted and procrastinating during the day and waking up at night.
It actually feels good to think…for a while.
And then it becomes overwhelming. Like one hundred browser tabs open at once.
And then my outward behaviors begin to follow suit.
It’s exhausting.
Yet, it’s amazing how putting ourselves in a different physical place, and intentionally a different perspective can switch off the monkey mind.
In doing so, we create a different experience, which opens us up for new insights and awareness.
Even in environments where pour options are limited. Last night, I couldn’t stop thinking so I slept with my head at the foot of the bed instead of the “normal” way.
Fell right to sleep.
Where might you need to use your thinking skills today for creating a new experience?
