In the mystery
Of simply being
Alive

When all else fails, sometimes the best answer is to remind ourselves that being alive is a beautiful, if extraordinarily challenging, mystery.
And mysteries, by definition, are unexplainable.
Sometimes no explanation is needed or even attainable.
And that’s it.
That’s the message.
The evolution
Of her imagination
Once quiet, now bearing down
With force and stern
Yet playful ways of being
The most important work
She’s ever done
Uncoiling the mystery
Which moves her forward
Despite all these thoughts,
Still rain,
Still something that
I can’t explain,
Ambling through
My cluttered brain
Truth, you are a mystery
The Angels remind us that the great mysteries of life unfold before us each day, along with the opportunity to stay safe and blind or to be curious and open to explore beneath the surface of what seems real but often isn’t.
The Angels remind us that the mysterious becomes mundane with eyes willing to see who and what is around us at any given moment.
You’re here for a purpose
Lifetimes in the making
Converging now in this time,
This place,
For reasons of ancient intent and current necessity,
Your purpose now partially appearing
From behind the shroud of your mind,
Whispering hints as you manage,
Never giving up hope,
Always fighting back fear,
The world a vast mystery in the palm of your hand
Secure in your knowledge of purpose and reason
Yet “what,” “why,” and “how,”
These are the questions unanswered,
Revealed in due time
With the precision of angels
Brought down for the peace of this world
