As the sun rises, she waits
As the day goes, she waits

As her heart knows
And makes way for growing

And it doesn’t kill her
Or anyone else
Or any other thing that may have felt
Its own life and livelihood
Depended on her staying put
As We All Spin Around
Time goes by
And with it
The passing of things as they were
People and places fade into the background
While others move forward
It’s their time now to shine
Until time turns again
Like a merry go round
I get to try out the view from each horse
As we all spin around
