Like moths to the flame
They come,
Drawn to the light inside
Goodness
Calmness
Divinity
They seek it all
From the world around them,
Though it is all inside
This flame,
This light
Must shine into the night,
A beacon for those who are lost
And a strength for the bearer
For the lamp is wasted
If it dares not produce light,
Yet if the heat becomes too much
Even the sturdiest lamp may burn
Soften,
Shield,
Send out your light
From behind a sheath of gold
So that all may flourish
All may nourish
Safe in the light inside
