Is power the maker of her world
Or is there something else, imperceptible
Yet sensed in the deepest parts
of her intrinsic memories
As if it were always there,
Seeking and returning,
As she vacillates between powerless
and power through
Perhaps there’s middle ground, lost
Seeking to be discovered

Walking on water
She finds her mettle
Sometimes shallow
Sometimes deep
Between the worlds
She releases her keep

Often the journey of transition and growth feels like trying to walk on water – an impossible feat.
When the water is shallow, we feel like it’s working.
And when the water becomes deep, we feel as if we’ve sunk.
But it’s this process of navigating the passage and staying connected to the middle ground, where we find the freedom to spread our wings.
To takes risks.
To wade into the deep and trust we won’t drown.
To explore the freedom we desire.
