She pulls from her depths
The wisdom endowed within,
Safely enshrined,
Too safe, for at times
It feels inaccessible,
And she must journey
To reconnect with herself,
For the mining of her gold within

Sometimes I’m in a strategic, focused mindset.
Sometimes I’m feeling creative and generative.
Sometimes I’m in a meditative place engaging with Reiki energy.
Each brings a different energy. Each takes a different level of spoons to maneuver. Each has its positives – and it’s negatives.
All keep me balanced, energized, and inspired in their own way, but when moving between each one, it can be challenging to find the place where I’m able to access my inner wisdom consistently.
And it’s the access to inner wisdom that is so important to all of these and what is generated from each.
It’s what drives them, guides them, nourishes them.
I can be prone to hyperfocus, getting deep into one way being. And then it’s almost as if I have to relearn how to be another way.
And so I schedule time each day to reconnect, usually through journaling.
It’s always a conscious practice that doesn’t happen unless I’m intentional about it. There are just so many distractions!
But I never regret taking the time to sink back into myself and the wisdom that comes.
How are you mining your own inner wisdom today?
