In the calling
And the longing
She rises to walk
In the knowing
That she is loved
She is whole
She is the one
She’s been waiting for

I just love the expression on the woman’s face in this graphic. She looks so happy, so vibrant, so confident in herself.
It resonates with me because it’s the fleeting feelings I access when I remember that the external world is there for context and learning and input but that any change I want comes from within.
Maybe “change comes from within” sounds a little cliche or too simple. To be honest, it’s not simple at all.
My go-to is always to find an expert to help me. Which totally makes sense when it’s something I have limited or zero knowledge about.
But also, I’ve been burned many times by solely relying on even the most expert advice from others when I didn’t examine their advice through my own lens of discernment.
When I assumed I didn’t know enough to know better, assumed since they were the expert that I should do it, even when everything inside me was screaming the opposite.
This is how I’ve given my power away, time and time again.
It’s not that I always know the exact answer – far from it.
But I definitely have clues in my body when something is right – and when it’s not.
We all do.
And cultivating this sense helps us not only to cut through all the noise and discern the best choices for us, but also to reconnect with who we are at a deep level.
To become really clear on our boundaries, what we will accept and what we won’t. Who we let in and who we don’t.
Which directly relates to feeling happy, vibrant, and confident – because we’re making choices in alignment with ourselves.
How are you cultivating your inner knowing today?
