What if everything comes down
To connection
All her senses ignited
With the awareness that
In every space
Her deepest song
Is always accessible

I, for one, have a tendency to compartmentalize based on the space I’m in. To disconnect from some parts of me to be “appropriate” or “fit in.”
When I’m at work, I use one set of tools. When I’m working with a client, I use a different set of tools. Same with family, friends, and so on.
Sometimes there is a natural overlap. But most often I leave my spiritual tools, especially, at the door when I enter other spaces. Spaces that are not spiritual in nature or by definition. Like work.
Except how does that make any sense really? We are spiritual beings in every situation and in every space.
And when we don’t show up like that, other aspects of our lives suffer. Communication. Presence. Confidence. Authenticity. A sense of fitting in.
I remember a job interview once where I presented professionally in every way but an interviewer still picked up on the fact that I do spiritual work. I’d never felt so seen. Or accepted. Or comfortable in my own skin.
And I got the job.
What if we showed up like that everywhere, all the time?
What tools are you leaving at the door?
